WANTED...For Outstanding Service to Scouting...YOUR NOMINATIONS!
The Greater Victoria Honours and Awards Team are in a bind... and we need your help desperately. There are WAY TOO MANY Scouters out there whom have served without formal recognition from Scouts Canada, and we are on a mission to get these people recognized.
We would like you to go through your files, your records, anything you have and get us the nomination forms for those wonderful people without whom we could not run this program for all of the youth.
Now who are we targeting... those who have been working hard at area, national, and international events for 20 plus years??? NO!!!! We want all groups to look hard at all Scouters who have 3 years or more in service to their groups. Help us achieve our goal of recognizing more people than we did last year!
You can also help by completing your own "MY SCOUTING HISTORY" and giving it to your own Group's Recognition Coordinator or Group Commissioner.

This section is dedicated to the youth and adult volunteers that have earned formal recognition from Scouts Canada, either through Scouts Canada's Honours & Awards program, for Long Service, or for youth earning Scouts Canada Awards.

The formal program is described in Bylaws, Policies and Procedures. We will try to enhance the information contained there and provide additional information on informal recognition.
