Welcome to Scouting in Greater Victoria Area (GVA).

Our Volunteers provide programs that serve more than 2,000 youth and adult members in Sooke, the Westshore communities, the core municipalities and the Saanich peninsula. Beaver Scouts, Wolf Cub Scouts, Scouts, Venturer Scouts, Rover Scouts and Scouting Leaders all enjoy the Fun and Challenge of the largest youth program in the world, right here in our own backyard.

Find out more about the people, the programs and the ideas that make us go. Use the menu on the left to navigate through the site.

Thanks for visiting.

ALL SCOUTERS - YEARS OF SERVICE AWARDS
Is your Beaver now a Scout? – a Venturer!? Does your partner fail to recognise you out of uniform? Does your newest best clothing have a red shirt?
If any – or all – of these is true, you need some BLING, and we have the thing – attractive scrolls, with official signatures; nifty lapel pins; even medals and ribbons to wear.
We have awards for Long Service – every five years. If you – or any Scouter around you – have been here for years, and never received one, please fill in the appropriate form, and send it to the Deputy Area Commissioner – Recognition (awards@victoriascouts.ca), and we will get the appropriate awards.
It doesn’t matter that you’ve been here for aeons, and never received anything – we can issue as many as are needed. Check out this reminder from our DAC Recognition for details!
